Here’s a beautiful brand-new set of fine walnut grips for your Smith and Wesson 22A or 22S .22 caliber semiauto pistol. These are beautiful grips, well-made and with intricate laser etching to create the Smith and Wesson logo on the left and right panels. These are stunning in detail; even the machining on the back of the grip panels is done with care. These grips are designed to accommodate the levers and mag release on the left side and frontstrap of the gun, and install in ONE PIECE on your pistol, secured with grip screws (not included; I have some hex screws listed in other sales). The finished look is beautiful on your pistol, as the grain and color of the walnut use to make these grips provides a rich hue to contrast with the style of your 22-series pistol. These precisely-made grips align so the backstrap of the grip appears as all one piece because it IS all one piece! These slip on your gun from the bottom after removing your existing grips. I've taken photos with both ambient room light and camera flash so you can see what the grips look like in different lighting conditions. The grips are fairly consistent in their coloring (and no stain is used on these), though the grain varies somewhat. Check my other listings, as I have other designs available on these grips as well. These are one-piece grips that slide on the gun's frame from the bottom. They are wider than the standard factory grips at 1-3/8" at the middle making the middle about 6" around. Front to back the grip area (not counting above the thumb) is about 2-1/8", making this a full-sized grip and allowing a secure grasp on the gun for those with larger hands. You are purchasing ONE grip set for your pistol. These are made on modern CNC equipment by craftsmen in the United States. The use of such technology allows us to bring these grips to you at an affordable price. They are VERY precisely made and some minor fitting may be required as every pistol made may vary due to production tolerances. No dowel pins are needed for installation of these grips, so they're easily installed on your Smith "plinker" pistol. Make sure you know the gun you have before purchasing; if you're not sure, ask and I will help you. Note that the leading edge of the grips has a cutout for the mag release, and there are cuts for the slide release and safety lever as well. These grips do not come with grip screws, but I have some beautiful hex-head screw sets for your 22A or 22S in stainless- and blued-steel for sale in my other listings; they are a bit longer than those that come with the plastic-gripped guns, so they're perfect for wood grips, including these. Smith & Wesson used different screws on these guns, depending These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is no distinct thumb rest on either side's grip panel. This is a great way to improve the appearance and handling of your gun while adding the look of fine wood to your gun. They complement blued or stainless guns equally well.
